All other trailers, semitrailers, or farm trailers must be registered annually with the DOT.

Towing vehicle may not follow other vehicles closer than 60 meters except for the purpose of passing. Riding in a towed trailer is prohibited.

No gas or oil appliances within a trailer can be in use when a trailer is in motion unless the trailer is equipped with an automatic safety valve that is capable of shutting off the gas or oil.
